(Last Updated On: December 4, 2014)

The Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is one of only a handful of automatic robotic vacuum cleaner’s available on the market capable of dry mopping, sanitizing, sweeping, and vacuuming your floor all in one simple step. Marketed as a 4-in-1 model this robotic vacuum cleaner can handle any hard surface you put in its path including: hardwood floors, linoleum floors, low-profile carpets, and tiled floors.

Equipped with a large LCD display that keeps you updated regarding cleaning time and operating status, the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner will go anywhere and everywhere, including hard-to-reach-places like under the bed, to rid your home of dirt, dust, and pet-hair. The Rotech Pro is also equipped with a unique built-in UV light, which makes it possible for this vacuum cleaner to cleanse your floors of allergens, bacteria, germs, and dust mites.

Thanks to the Rotech Pro’s cliff-sensing technology, you’ll never have to worry about your robotic vacuum cleaner falling down the stairs because the Rotech Pro will avoid them all together. You’ll never have to worry about finding battery-drained vacuum in the corner of your home somewhere either because when the battery gets low on your Rotech Pro it returns itself to the charging base to power back up.

After a four hour charging cycle, the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner will be ready to resume a cleaning cycle. The vacuum is capable of cleaning between 90 minutes and 120 minutes on a single charge.

In addition to all of these excellent features, the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner also slides in at unbelievable price of $244.99 on Amazon (at the time this article was written – see here for latest pricing). This robotic vacuum cleaner gives buyers the best performance for the price by far as compared to other models on the market such as iRobot Roomba or Neato Robotics Vacuum Cleaners for example.

What Customers Are Saying

Customers who have purchased the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner have a lot to say about the product and the good news for Rotech is that most of the chatter is positive. Looking at what others have to say collectively about a product is a great way to gauge a lot of the important factors that play into purchasing something before dropping any serious amount of cash on an item – such as a robotic vacuum cleaner – for your-self.

Price – Pricewise, customers can’t get over how cheap the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is as compared to other products that provide the same amount of features and high-level of cleaning. At half the cost of a Roomba, the $244.99 list price of the Rotech Pro is a huge motivator behind many purchases of the vacuum cleaner. Many buyers are first time Rotech product purchasers (because of the excellent price) and the majority of them are extremely pleased with the product they receive for the money spent.

Cleaning and Maneuvering – Not many robotic vacuums can boast they are capable of disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming but the Rotech Pro can. Customers who have purchased the product have claimed time and time again that the vacuum cleaner greatly exceeded expectations regarding disinfecting, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming capabilities; especially in homes with heavy foot traffic and pets. But it should be noted there are a few complaints out there stating that the vacuum cleaner is indeed better suited for hard floors than any type of carpeted floor.

Some buyers have also claimed that while the Rotech Pro does a superior job of disinfecting, mopping, and sweeping, it seems to struggle with suction and vacuuming on occasion in homes with more than one pet.

The vacuum cleaner’s ability to maneuver around objects, over area rugs and floor mats, and avoid stairs has also blown many customers away. Almost every robotic vacuum cleaner out there claims to have this capability, but the Rotech Pro is one of the few that actually backs up its claim. However, some customers have warned that the vacuum’s wheels can get caught in laptop and cell phone cords if left lying on the floor.

Sound – The Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner operates at a noise level lower than 50db. Customer’s everywhere are very pleased with how quiet the machine is while it runs and how easy it is to ignore. You never have to worry about being distracted by the noise of the vacuum or talking over it any time it comes through the room and you’re in the middle of a conversation.

Ease of Use – Many customers have described the Rotech Pro as having their own personal “house maid.” The vacuum cleaner operates just as promised and goes about its business, flashing its operating status and cleaning time as it chugs along. When the battery gets low or its work is done for the day, it returns the charging dock and recharges itself. Owners never have to worry about moving furniture because the Rotech Pro doesn’t miss a thing. All you have to do is start the vacuum on its way every morning and it will handle everything else from there.

Maintenance – The Rotech Pro is a pretty low-maintenance machine but customers do recommend cleaning the bristles once a week and replacing filters and mopping pads every three or four months. Other than that, there’s really no work involved on the purchasers end and who wouldn’t be happy about that?

Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Pros & Cons

Everybody knows that every product out there comes with a list of pros and cons. Manufacturers know this as well. The manufacturer hopes that the pro list will greatly outweigh the cons and when it comes to the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner that is exactly the case.

Pros

  • Accessories included such as remote control, mop cloth and plate, dust brush, side brush, adapter, docking station, and remote control.
  • Built in UV-Light ideal for sanitizing floors and ridding your home of allergens, bacteria, germs, and dust mites
  • Built in cliff-sensing technology keeps vacuum safe and away from stairs
  • Cleaning and maneuvering capabilities exceed expectations of buyers, especially in homes with heavy foot traffic and pets
  • Easy to use and operate
  • Exceptionally quiet operating sound level of less than 50db
  • Half the price of other comparable products
  • Low-maintenance product that only requires bristle cleaning once per week.
  • Smart technology and ability to self-charge when done cleaning or battery gets low
  • The Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is a 4-in-1 vacuum that disinfects, mops, sweeps, and vacuums hard surfaces and low-profile carpets throughout your home, giving it a huge leg-up over the competition

Cons

  • Best suited for hard surfaced floors only rather than hard surfaced floors and low-profile carpets
  • Wheels can get caught in cell phone and laptop charging cords
  • Low suction/struggles with vacuuming in homes with more than one pet (I would recommend a Roomba for pet owners)

Recommended?

After seeing everything the Rotech Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner has to offer and reading what other happy customers have to say about the product, it would be impossible not to recommend this robotic vacuum cleaner. If you’re looking for a powerful robotic vacuum capable of disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming your floors, this machine should definitely be on your “seriously considering” list. I’ll be clear, it’s not a Roomba or Neato with the same brand recognition, but its also at a much lower price point.

The Rotech Pro seems best suited for homes with hard-surfaced floors than those with low-profile carpets, but it’s more than capable of handling heavy-traffic areas. While the latest Roomba’s might be better suited for deep carpet cleaning, the Rotech is a great for maintenance runs to cut down on the need to vacuum the old way. This would be a great help for people with children or pets who struggle to keep up with daily chores and picking up after those who can’t do so for themselves yet – like toddlers for example.

The price is great, the vacuum comes with plenty of additional accessories to give you the ideal cleaning experience, and its a great little vacuum for maintaining a clean area. You can find an excellent price here.
