Eufy RoboVac 11+ vs. Eufy RoboVac 11c: Which One Will You Like More?

Last updated: December 4, 2021 by Patrick Sinclair Leave a Comment

Eufy first came out with the Robovac 11 in 2016. Less than two years later, it already has four different Robovac 11s in the market:

  • Eufy Robovac 11. The first-generation Robovac 11 features three-stage cleaning, a lithium ion battery, and other premium features.
  • Eufy Robovac 11+. The second-generation Robovac 11 delivers more suction power than the original.
  • Eufy Robovac 11c. The first-generation connected Robovac 11, showcasing the features and functionality of the Robovac 11 with added Wi-Fi connectivity, plus a companion mobile app.
  • Eufy Robovac 11c Pet Edition. The upcoming second-generation connected Robovac 11 has the features of the Robovac 11c, but with stronger suction power.

How does the Eufy Robovac 11+ compare with the Eufy Robovac 11c?

Eufy RoboVac 11+

eufy [BoostIQ] RoboVac 11+ (2nd Gen: Upgraded Bumper and Suction Inlet) High Suction, Self-Charging...

The second generation of Eufy RoboVac 11+ has everything you like about the first-generation model, except this one comes with a power boost feature that offers more efficient cleaning for carpeted floors.

Features

  • Three-point system. The Eufy RoboVac 11+ uses a pair of side brushes, a rolling brush, and a powerful suction to clean your floors.
  • Remote control. Your Eufy Robovac 11+ has a remote control that allows you to operate your robot vacuum easily. You can use it to set the time and add cleaning schedules, set the cleaning mode you want, and even manually drive the robot where you want it to go.
  • Lithium-ion battery. Eufy Robovac 11+ uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that gives you up to 100 minutes of cleaning time.
  • Power boost. If you are cleaning carpets, the robot vacuum will automatically turn on the power boost mode, which gives it more suction power.
  • Other features. The Eufy RoboVac 11+ has a tempered glass cover that gives it an elegant look. The scratchproof glass also makes it more durable. There are sensors on board that help the robot vacuum know where to go as well as help it avoid bumping into obstacles. The Robovac 11+ will clean until the battery runs out, at which point it will find its way back to the charging dock to recharge.

Cleaning modes

The Eufy RoboVac 11+ has five cleaning modes. There is the default automatic mode, and there is the manual mode, which allows you to control where the robot vacuum goes. It also has:

Spot cleaning, which sends the RoboVac 11+ cleaning in a smaller spiral pattern. This helps you clean spills and dirtier areas.
Edge cleaning, which sends the robot vacuum cleaning along your walls.
Single room cleaning, which tells the Robovac 11+ to stop after it cleans one room.

What you would like about the Eufy RoboVac 11

The RoboVac 11+ sports a very simple look, but because of the tempered glass covering, it looks more expensive than it is. Cleaning-wise, it works like a Roomba, with the rolling brush working together with the side brushes to agitate, sweep, and loosen up dirt. The powerful suction sends it into the large dustbin. Compared to the original Robovac 11, the 11+ has a wider brush.

What could be better

The Eufy RoboVac 11+ will automatically turn on the power boost mode when it senses that it is cleaning a carpet. This gives your robot vacuum a more powerful suction, but it also drains the battery much faster.

What’s in the box?

  • Eufy RoboVac 11+
  • Charging base
  • Remote control with 2 AAA batteries
  • Power adapter
  • Cleaning tool
  • Two extra side brushes
  • Extra high performance filter
  • Extra foam filter
  • Safety leaflet
  • Owner’s manual
  • Quick start guide

Final say about the Eufy RoboVac 11+

The Eufy RoboVac 11+ is a great robot vacuum that works quietly. Its slim profile allows it to get under furniture and clean harder-to-reach areas. It comes with a HEPA-style filter that traps more dusts and particles so that they do not go back into the air you breathe.

If you are looking for a robot vacuum that you can use to maintain the cleanliness of your house, so you would not need to use the upright vacuum as frequently, then this one is for you.

Eufy Robovac 11c

The Eufy Robovac 11c works similarly to both the Eufy Robovac 11 and Robovac 11+, except that it does not have the power boost feature. It does come with the ability to connect to your Wi-Fi network so that you could control it using the mobile app.

The Wi-fi connectivity also adds another level of control for your robot vacuum. The Robovac 11c works with Amazon Alexa, so you can just tell it to start vacuuming when you want it to. This allows you to put away the included physical remote and even your smartphone.

The Robovac 11c does have an attractive exterior. It looks very elegant and expensive. It also offers a better scheduling system, allowing you to set weekly schedules instead of the daily schedules you see on earlier Robovac 11s.

Cleaning modes

Like the Robovac 11+, the Robovac 11c also has spot cleaning, auto mode, edge cleaning, single room cleaning, and manual cleaning.

The 11c, however, also offers Max cleaning, which works like the power boost feature you see on the 11+. Max mode is what you use when you want to clean carpets.

What’s in the box?

  • Eufy Robovac 11c
  • Charging base
  • Remote control
  • Power adapter
  • Cleaning tool
  • Four side brushes
  • Extra high-performance filter
  • Extra HEPA-style filter
  • Extra foam filter
  • Owner’s manual
  • Quick start guide

Side-by-side comparison: Eufy RoboVac 11+ and Eufy RoboVac 11c

There is really not much difference between the Robovac 11+ and the Robovac 11c. The 11c has a more expensive price tag because of the Wi-Fi features that allow you to control the robot vacuum using the mobile app installed on your smartphone, or via Amazon Alexa. The 11c also has a slightly bigger dust bin.

Everything else is more or less the same between the two Eufy Robovac 11 models. They both use the main rolling brush, two side brushes, a HEPA-style filter, and cliff and infrared sensors that help them avoid falling off steep drops and navigate away from obstacles.

They both recharge automatically and have the same suction power at 1000 pa. Even their lithium battery is the same, with up to 100 minutes of running time.

Alternatives to the Eufy Robovac 11c and Robovac 11+

Both the Robovac 11+ and the 11c are best for maintaining the cleanliness of your floors in between sessions with the upright vacuum. In other words, you cannot retire your trusty upright vacuum just yet. There are issues with how both robot vacuums navigate, as they miss corners as well as certain areas of your floor. For this reason, you might want to consider getting a Roomba.

Compared to both the Robovac 11c and 11+, Roombas move around with more precision. Roombas look like they know where to go next, as opposed to the Robovac’s more random behavior. This is especially true for the more expensive Series 900 Roombas that have onboard cameras and VSLAM technology.

However, if you want to give Eufy a chance or if you are turned off by Roomba’s expensive price, you might want to wait for the Eufy Robovac 11c Pet Edition. The upcoming Robovac 11c Pet Edition has a more powerful suction and Wi-Fi connectivity. In other words, it brings together the things that you love from RoboVac 11+ (power boost for carpets) and 11c (Wi-Fi connectivity).
